Support another 60 years of programs, research and resources provided by the American Floral Endowment (AFE)!
Please join me in supporting the future of the floral industry by giving to the American Floral Endowment’s 60th Anniversary! As a Board of Trustees member, I am fundraising towards our joint goal of $100,000 in 60 days. Thanks to our generous community, we have reached our initial goal of $60,000 in the first 30 days!
Perhaps like you, I really wasn’t aware of the work being done by AFE, but after learning more, I’m very impressed by the quality of research, and just as importantly, by the outreach and input into the research prior to supporting research projects. We have work going on with disease (ex. botrytis, downy mildew) and insect management(ex. thrips), post-harvest physiology, lighting, and more. A more recent program to help share this information has been the Grow Pro Series: https://endowment.org/growpro/
